Excerpt from "If Ye Shall Ask" by Oswald Chambers

Lately I've been rereading this book—slowly in small bits, normally while my coffee is brewing. My mom gave it to me a couple years ago and it’s such a blessing. The book is a collection of “reflections on the power of prayer”.

Side note:

Aside from his devotionals I don’t know much about Oswald Chambers except that he died fairly young. His insights into the scripture have been encouraging and healing to me and I’d like to know more about him. I think young people are eager to understand scripture in more truthful ways than are often communicated and also to have vision for what a faithful walking with Christ looks like. Role models. The ultimate being Christ of course, yes. I’d like to add a page on here dedicated to the the inspiring lives of the saints in times past and recent. There is an abundance of quality culture that goes unnoticed under the noise of the toxic garbage that is constantly in our face today.

Here’s what I read this morning:

Be blessed
