February 7th

This is my first journal entry specifically designed for the public on Darkforeststudiospace.com

I just had a thought, “what about Darkforestneighborhoodspace?”. Probably not, but leaning into the element of community is something I am dead set on. 

I need not over explain the value of such a complex system or the elements of life that suffer without them. I am no expert on the subject and admit that it is only in the last couple of years that I’ve had a conscience interest in this topic. Mother Teresa said “If you want to change the world go home and love your family.” I have a pretty big family and thinking about loving them like Christ would love them quickly highlights a lot of the areas where I miss the mark. The good news is that I have a big family that has had its fair share of drama throughout the years and so i should have endless opportunities for practice–PRAISE GOD!!. At the nuclear level there are seven of us and most of us are pretty different from each other––constant lessons learned and chances to practice peace and surrender. Upside down emoji. 

A community is like a family. When one suffers, so do the rest. I need to call my sister.
