This project was very open ended allowing me to design a pair of shoes for the fashion collection I was finishing for another studio class (more on this). Inspirations came from all over to conceptualize an architectural heel—stark and shrouded in mystery with undertones of ritual. While I made the mood board much earlier, the sketches and rendered model were completed from home in about 2 weeks. Originally the project called for a physical prototype, but the unforeseen effects of COVID-19 limited my access to resources and ultimately I was not able to produce a physical representation.
